DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Design and develop audio subsystem device drivers for current and future gaming consoles
  • Participate in audio subsystem architecture definition and documentation
  • Implement robust embedded software using modern C++ constructs
  • Develop unit tests for software components that you own


REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  2. 5+ years of professional software development experience
  3. Ability to read and understand an existing software platform written in C++
  4. Proficient with fundamental computer science data structures and algorithms
  5. Experience developing multithreaded software, and also leveraging asynchronous programming constructs
  6. Experience developing device drivers for complex SOCs, and have a fundamental understanding of power and clock tree initialization
  7. Knowledge of lower level device driver topics such as DMA, cache coherency, use of memory barrier instructions

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • MS degree
  • Experience using real time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Some knowledge and/or experience with digital audio programming, digital signal processing (DSP)
